Kevin Donahue
Since 2017 Mr. Donahue has been a participant in several CRE start-up companies and investment opportunities. In addition he has been actively engaged as an advisor, expert witness and consultant to various investment sponsors, lenders, law firms and service providers across a full spectrum of complex CRE and capital market transactions.
Mr. Donahue joined C-III Capital Partners (New York) in November 2012 as a Senior Managing Director and was responsible for providing oversight and direction to their servicing platform, C-III Asset Management (Dallas). He coordinated interaction with rating agencies, investors, and bondholders and additionally worked closely with C-III’s senior management team on new business development and a variety of strategic and operational initiatives. In addition to his other duties with C-III Capital Partners, he was also named President of C-III Asset Management in January 2014 and assumed day-to-day oversight for the entire platform until his departure in July 2017.
Prior to his affiliation with C-III, Mr. Donahue spent the previous 11 years (2001-2012) as a Senior Vice President and Director of the Real Estate Solutions Group at Midland Loan Services, a PNC Real Estate division. At Midland, Mr. Donahue had responsibility for directing all CMBS special servicing, asset management, due diligence, and real estate advisory services. Under his leadership, Midland became the largest third-party CMBS Special Servicer. During his almost 40 year career in the commercial real estate industry in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia Mr. Donahue has been actively involved in acquisitions, loan originations, complex loan workouts, asset management, underwriting and virtually all aspects of loan servicing. Prior to joining Midland, from 1979-2001, Mr. Donahue held senior positions with various commercial real estate companies including Crown Northcorp, Atlanta Georgia; J.E. Robert Company, McLean Virginia; DRS Realty Services, Chantilly Virginia; Jones and Company, Overland Park Kansas and SSRC Realty Corporation, New York.
